Bluebells

I've just had my website updated and Patricia who did it for me recommended that I put a blog on it. I wasn't too keen on it to begin with, even though I have a Degree in Computing Science I've very much steered away from all of this social networking stuff!
Anyway she won so here is my first entry.I've cheated a little bit with this one as it's not entirely current. We live just by some woods that I often go running through. Every year at about Easter time they are covered in bluebells. For the last 3 years I've kept saying that I would take my daughter Holly there to take some photographs, unfortunately the previous two years were a complete washout with the weather. The bluebells don't last very long and by the time the weather had cleared they'd gone.
Luckily this year was a different matter, so with a bit of bribery on my part off we went.

As you can see from the pictures the wood was full of them. Holly is only 5 but well used to Dad taking copious pictures of here. Quite a lot of times I have to coax kids to engage with the camera, with Holly its the other way round. I have to try and make here forget she is having her picture taken otherwise she ends up really posing.
We started off really well as you can see but after about 45 mins she was really regretting I'd brought her out, nothing a bit of bribery with crisps couldn't sort out (I hope her mum isn't reading this)

Like quite a lot of shoots the first and last pictures are often the best. This one is my favourite, its got quite a dream like quality to it.
